Jimmy Barbosa
PT, DPT, CIDN
Jayme (also known as Jimmy) brings a passion for orthopedic physical therapy, helping patients recover from injuries, manage chronic pain, and return to the activities they enjoy. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy, both from Northern Arizona University. He has also pursued advanced certification in Integrative Dry Needling.
His approach combines hands-on manual therapy, pain science education, and individualized exercise programs to address each patient’s unique needs and goals. Whether recovering from surgery, managing persistent pain, or working through an injury, Jayme focuses on empowering patients with the knowledge and tools to take an active role in their recovery and maintain long-term results.
Born in Brazil and raised in Flagstaff, Jayme considers Flagstaff home. His own experience with physical therapy following a high school tennis injury inspired him to pursue a career helping others. He is proud to serve the community where he grew up.
Outside the clinic, Jayme enjoys spending time with his wife and son, hiking, mountain biking, camping, playing tennis, pickleball, and golf. He enjoys just about anything that gets him outdoors.
